Motion S4M-14235: Linda Fabiani, East Kilbride, Scottish National Party, Date Lodged: 11/09/2015
Coffee and Cake in East Kilbride, Macmillan Cancer Support
That the Parliament congratulates Macmillan Cancer Support as it celebrates the 25th anniversary of its World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, which takes place across Scotland on 25 September 2015; acknowledges that the charity is able to offer medical, emotional, practical and financial support to people touched by cancer, in some part due to the hard work of the coffee morning volunteers, such as Patricia Leslie from East Kilbride, who opens her home to local residents every year to host a fundraising coffee morning, and welcomes what it considers the generous contributions from individuals and organisations throughout Scotland to support the important work of Macmillan Cancer Support.
