Linda Fabiani MSP for East Kilbride was delighted to attend this year’s East Kilbride Sports Personality of the Year Awards at the Arts Centre on Friday. Linda presented the Female Junior Sports Personality of the Year Award to Pamela Clark for her outstanding achievement in trampoline.

Linda said:

“The East Kilbride Sports Personality of the Year Awards were fantastic. These awards show just how many talented athletes and coaches we have here in East Kilbride and I was delighted to be part of the celebrations acknowledging their achievements.

“With just over a year to go to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, so many athletes in East Kilbride are working hard to do everything they can to earn a place on Team Scotland. But of course none of it would be possible without the hard work and dedication of our coaches, volunteers and parents who make it all happen.

“A big cheer must also go to East Kilbride Sports Council who do a fantastic job all year round supporting the town’s clubs. Well done to all.”
